Battle Castle host Dan Snow takes us inside a Roman lighthouse that sits on the grounds of Dover Castle in Kent, England. This structure, along with a Saxon church, are architectural artifacts, build before the main castle, that still exist today. Known as "the Key to England", Dover was attacked by Prince Louis of France with an array of weapons technology including the mangonel, perrier and siege tower. The stone castle was built mostly by Henry the II's engineer Maurice, and defended by Hubert de Burgh, loyal to English King John.
